Peggy C. Frank, CEO

Peggy C. Frank, MBA, is CEO of Frank PR Worldwide. With three decades of healthcare public relations, media relations, investor relations, and marketing experience, Frank PR is well respected in the health care and biotechnology industry. Ms. Frank has worked in top management positions with the nation's largest organizations, including Prudential HealthCare; Heinz's Weight Watchers, International; one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world - Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Hyatt Medical Enterprises, formerly a division of Hyatt Hotels.

Before launching Frank PR in the Spring of 1999, she spent four years as Director of Public Relations for Prudential HealthCare, Western Division, where she honed her crisis communications' skills and developed a working knowledge of the managed care industry.

She garnered her considerable knowledge and expertise in the health care industry through long-term tenures with several highly regarded hospitals, including nearly 13 years as Assistant Director of Public Relations at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Her other health care public relations experience includes Saint John's Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica, CA, and Medical Center of Encino, Encino, CA, a Hyatt Medical Enterprises facility. Early in her career, Ms. Frank was the Southern California Director of Communications and Advertising for Weight Watchers, International, a Heinz Company.

Ms. Frank is a well-known speaker on health care and public relations issues, receiving numerous national and local awards acknowledging her commitment to the field. As a nationally recognized thought-leader in the healthcare information technology area, Ms. Frank provided her expertise to the President-appointed Commission on Systemic Interoperability, March 2005. She received her MBA, with an emphasis in Health Care Management, from California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks, CA, and her BA in Journalism from California State University, Northridge. She shares her incredible passion and insights with graduate school nurses by teaching “The Impact of e-Healthcare” at the University of Phoenix. She also teaches marketing, public relations, and organizational behavior.

Among her professional affiliations, she is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and the Insurance Media Association.

Paula Correia, Account Executive

Paula Correia is a veteran healthcare PR and marketing communications professional. Paula provides Frank Public Relations Worldwide with her considerable expertise in corporate communications, marketing promotion, media, and advocacy. She is well known in the Southern California hospital PR community for executive level PR positions at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Saint John's Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica, San Pedro Peninsula Hospital in San Pedro, and Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey. Paula is recognized nationally by leading PR organizations and has more than 50 major PR and Communications awards to her credit, including the prestigious Prism Award from the Public Relations Society of American, MacEachern Award from the American Hospital Association, and the Clarion Award from Women in Communications, Inc. A native of Switzerland, Paula is fluent in Spanish, French, German, and English. She holds a BA degree in Journalism from California State University, Fullerton, and an MA in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.

Mari Edlin, Public Relations Consultant

Mari Edlin has more than 30 years of experience in journalism, public relations, and marketing communications. Mari provides Frank Public Relations Worldwide with media relations, writing case studies, white papers, and healthcare IT bylined articles. She has extensive background writing news and feature articles for corporate, employee and trade publications, direct mail pieces and web content. Mari is a contributor to Fortune Magazine, and writes regularly for Managed Healthcare Executive Magazine and Coverage Magazine. A Stanford graduate, she has taught many workshops at the university. She is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.

Carol Haynes, Web Consultant

Carol Haynes is a web master with expertise in content writing and a background in advertising. She has nearly 10 years of experience in the web industry. Carol provides Frank Public Relations Worldwide with consulting support in areas including website design, development, optimization, and interactive features such as blogs and podcasts. She has done work for clients in a wide range of industries, including finance, biotechnology, social media, sports/fitness, e-commerce and non-profit. She holds a BA in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
